Nestled in the foothills of the Kinglake National Park, 40 minutes from Melbourne, is the 'Grand Old Pub' at St Andrews.
St Andrews (originally known as Queenstown) was famous as a gold mining area from the 1850's till the mid 1900's and the hotel at St Andrews was established during this time.

Today it is fast becoming one of Victoria's top live music venues, famous around Australia for attracting great Blues and Roots musicicians to perform in the wonderful atmosphere that a huge open fire, no pokies and traditional pub hospitality can offer.

St Andrews Pub has produced many CD's of performances by some of Australia's top musicians winning praise from reviewers and punters alike.

The Boogaloos & The Highway 41 Horns   Chicken House
     

The Boogaloo's are an eight piece soul band with a wash of Blues/Rock and a definite indavidualistic flavour in thier music.

The repertiore covers a diverse range,with classic and forgotten tracks from the 50's,60's,70's. The style of music range from Rock,Pop,Ska,Reggae & of course Soul. All styles of music are performed with the Boogaloo's own interpretation,style & flare,no repeitious cloning of old covers. The Boogaloo's are a feel good,fun band that entertian their audiences to the fullest. The band was formed in 91' and after several changes in line up,stabilized in 92'.

The band was formed by Mark Smith in Dec 2005 for the Eltham jazz and blues festival for a supposedly one-off gig, but the enthusiastic response was good enough reason to keep it going. Since then the band have been playing blues venues around Victoria, including a regular presence at St Andrews Hotel, one of Melbourne’s foremost blues venues. The guys have been playing in various bands with each other for decades...

• P.A., Microphones, Drums, Bass & 2 Guitar Amps supplied for any musician wanting to play.
• We are filming and recording the gigs to locally produce CD’s and DVD’s so Musicians can check themselves out in full swing.
• Our aim is to provide Jammers with a comfortable stage environment and give them great sound.
• We are getting a little support from local music shops and community radio, as well as all our local supporters.
